 abstract={Popularność humanistyki cyfrowej – jej dynamiczny rozwój, atrakcyjność, a przede wszystkim wartość poznawcza oferowanych rozwiązań – jest faktem, który trudno zakwestionować. Spontanicznej i gwałtownej ekspansji metod, narzędzi i zasobów cyfrowych w humanistyce (częściowo także w naukach społecznych) nie towarzyszy jednak dostateczna refleksja teoretyczna. Niniejsza książka ma wypełnić tę lukę. Intencją autorów jest przede wszystkim ukazanie istoty humanistyki cyfrowej, jej specyfiki i cech, które łączą badaczy reprezentujących często odległe domeny – antropologię kultury, historię, informatykę stosowaną, kartografię cyfrową, lingwistykę, nauki o mediach, nauki o sztuce – w kontekście dobiegającej kresu epoki gutenbergowskiej. Monografia jest skierowana do szerokiego grona odbiorców akademickich – przede wszystkim studentów, lecz także wykładowców – oraz czytelników zainteresowanych światem cyfrowym. Warto podkreślić, że jest to pierwsze tego rodzaju kompendium poświęcone humanistyce cyfrowej w Polsce i jedno z pierwszych w Europie.},
