 abstract={Oblíbenost digitálních humanitních věd, jejich dynamický rozvoj, poutavost a především hodnota zjištění, která přinášejí, jsou těžko zpochybnitelnými fakty. Samovolný a prudký rozmach digitálních metod, nástrojů a prostředků v humanitních (a částečně i společenských) vědách však nedoprovází dostatečná teoretická reflexe. Předkládaná monografie si klade za cíl tuto mezeru zaplnit. Záměrem autorů je především poukázat na podstatu digitálních humanitních věd, jejich specifika a rysy, které spojují vědce reprezentující často vzdálené obory – historii, kulturní antropologii, lingvistiku, uměnovědy, sociální geografii, aplikovanou informatiku – v kontextu doznívající gutenbergovské éry. Monografie je určena širokému akademickému publiku – především studentům, ale i pedagogům – a dalším čtenářům se zájmem o digitální svět. Je třeba zdůraznit, že jde o jeden z prvních sborníků svého druhu věnovaný digitálním humanitním vědám v Evropě.},
